we have full cover comercial on our f150, last month we drove to a tree, the insurance company sayed that they will fixed, we drop the truck off on progressive repair center because they sayed that will be quicker and better, they give us the truck back yesterday, and we find out that de headlights dont match, the trim around the front grill is after market and does not look quite the same, but the worst part is that the truck is pulling to the left, so they did not fix the truck, only the body shop and partially... now we went to made the alignment and on tire kingdom said that the truck direction need to be fixed, so progressive did not touch that, on the meantime, we are losing work because we dont have the truck runnig good,(my boyfriend is a PI so he need to have the truck in perfect runnig conditions..) what we can do to push the company to do the right thing and dont take more time?

the manager send us to do the alignment in other place and they will re fund the money, that is the reason we went to tire kingdom.. do you think we will have to hire a lawyer?

we already came back to talk to them like adults like you dais more than 3 times, and all the times they said that the manager is not there, that they will call us, this is hapening since the first time we went there to pick up the truck, today, they dont even pick up the phone, and believe, i know how much a lawyer can charge, but we are talking about days that he is loosing work beacuse he dont have his truck, and the truck is on perfect conditions, but when we hit the tree affect trhe direction for some reason.. we was going about 10 miles hour or less, was almost in our front yard and was because we dont wanted to kill a racoon.. he only can waork on that truck because of the equipment that have inside...

You need to call the claims adjuster at Progressive. If there is ADDITIONAL damage from the original loss that was overlooked then they WILL correct it. As for the mismatched and aftermarket parts, you better read your policy; it probably states that they can use these replacement parts on your vehicle unless you want to pay the difference for new ones.
You get what you pay for.....
P.S. -- you don't need a lwayer. Besides, they won't take your case.

ugh, good lord.. what on earth do you think a lawyer will do here? haha.. people crack me up so much. Tell me.. what on earth do you think a lawyer would charge to help you here? Do you have any idea? you dont think id be free right?

A lawyer would NEVEr.. i repeat NEVER.. touch this b/c they wouldnt make any money... they would charge you ATLEAST 500 bucks for a repair thats less then that. I cant believe people think they can just run to a lawyer.. it cracks me up.

Look- the benefit of the service center is you have a 100% guarantee on the repairs.

i GUARENTEE you have no been reasonable and sat down and gone over the issues with them.. if you have.. what did they say? they wouldnt just say "screw you.. we dont care you car looks bad.. were done" that would NEVER happen.

If the headlights dont match.. they would ABSOLUTELY fix it.. so.. what are you not telling us about the headlights?

If the grill was aftermarket and didnt match.. the would ABSOLUTELY fix it. Now.. if your just complaining b/c its aftermarket.. and have no reason... and it looks exactly the asme.. no way will you get it fixed. your contract that YOU signed states they can use aftermarket.

Now.. the alignment... could it have been accident related? did your car get hit in the tire? or are you just treating your cadr like crap and never getting maintence and want a free alignment? progressive would ABSOLUTELY cover your alignment if there was ANY POSSIBLE WAY it was accident related.

People are so quick to complain about the "big bad insurance companies"- please... i dont even like progressive and i KNOW they are perfectly reasonable if you are. Are you one of those customers who can never be happy and nothing pleases them?

Talk to them like an ADULT about your issues and im sure they will help. Accidents are PAINS. they CANNOT make every little inconvenience go away. But my god.. i bet if you simmer down and gp put on your big girl pants and talk to them about this they will try to make it as easy as possible.

EDIT: so what on earth is stopping your husband from working? headlamps and grills certainly wouldnt affect it. Just the alignment? So your seriously not working for days because of a 69.00 alignment? Doesnt he make much more then that a day? Then tell me.. why on earth dont you just get an alignment (like they said... they will reimburse you likely) and submit the receipt? Why blame missing work on them when you could perfectly well go? come on.. be reasonable here.. and im sure they will too.

You take the truck back to the shop that did the repairs and point out the problems to the body shop manager.

If Progressive has paid to have it repaired - they are not going to pay to re-repair that part (for example- if they paid the body shop to do an alignment - they are not going to pay Tire Kingdom to do another one. Doing the alignment over is the body shops responsibility). If there are repairs that were missed - the body shop will contact Progressive and submit a supplement.

I truly do wish you good luck on this one!!! I got totally screwed over by Progressive a few years ago due to an accident I had too. The extremely long delays in my case made me have to plead guilty to 2 traffic tickets because Progressive couldn't fix the person that I hits car (I was 2 cars behind her when I hit her...don't ask) before the court date. Every time I tried calling someone from Progressive, I just got the run around (my policy was with Progressive). I will never, ever have another policy with them again...and I wouldn't recommend a dog to them either!!!
