to the DMV by themself to go take the drivers license? Or do they need to be accompanied by an adult with a drivers license?
Thanks!

Thats what I thought, and have told the person that they need to have someone that has a drivers license to drive them to take their test, but said no, she's 18 she can go there herself. Im dumbfounded by it, and wanted to hear others thoughts on this.

She will be driving there to take her test, but the other thing is, what if she fails, and then has to drive herself. Almost like she is driving herself to the belly of the beast

I don't care if she is over 18, without a license she can't drive herself without supervision. Period. Who ever told you different doesn't have a clue.

Yes this makes you an accessory, unless you can prove you did everything in your power to stop them from drinking, the law sees you as guilty. but if you go to court, and you were not with them at the time of them doing the deed, and they called you for a ride, you can make the case that you were giving them a ride so they wouldn't drive drunk, then they might let you off, but do not pull this.

the licensed driver has to be with you and the examiner for the test. I doubt the examiner will lend you a car.

You have to have someone that has a driver's license with you. Everyone does, it doesn't matter how old you are.

for the 1st time going to the dmv to get license, no matter how old you are, you have to have someone with you. just to renew your license, you can go by yourself.
