What is going to happen when I go to the DMV and present them with information that shows that I've been living in the new state for longer than 60 days? Will I get a fine, ticket, license suspension???

I think you will be fine. I moved to another state and never changed my stuff around because the taxes where outrageous. Ended up moving back to the first state anyways after 5 yrs. I think you will be ok if you go do it now. Depends on your state laws i guess and how strict your local DMV is. Good Luck
