I have a 2006 MazdaSpeed 6 and was wondering if anyone has had any specific mechanical issues, or little "wish-I-had-known" things they have discovered? Also, has anyone run into issues regarding the cooling of the turbo? I'm just curious how long, and under what circumstances, I need to let the car idle after parking but before engine shut-off. Feel free to post any other FYIs related to this specific model (year doesn't matter). Thanks!

The heat in my 99 Millenia usually warms up fast but lately I start my car, the engine warms up and the needle in the temperature gauge shoots all the way up to HOT (it has always maintained exactly between H and C), and the heat never really gets hot... WHAT MIGHT THIS BE???

I recently had the transmission replace on my 2003 Mazda 6s V6. There's a whole backstory behind the reason why involving another mechanic messing with my tranny, and then it dying while i was driving the next day. I won't get into all the details but what I DO need to know is what the life of an automatic transmission is usually for this kind of car.

I have a 1995 FD RX7 and I am looking for an engine swap. One of my workmates is selling a R26B 4-Rotor Engine which he got in his previous job. I was wondering if the engine would fit in my FD or if I have to stick with the 20B.

I need to put coolant into my mom's 97 Mazda Protege. When I went to Pep boys, I accidentaly told them it was a 98. Do you think the coolant will have changed between these years? If you don't know, where (besides the car manual) can I find this out?

Is there a bad wire problem ? Bulb is burned and smoke came out from there after engine off and door opened for a while, fuse have not burn, this happened after replaced fuse(same rate) and new bulb after week.

I've got a problem with my MX5 - gorgeous car, lovely to drive, but I am having a real problem with the windows! They are constantly covered in condensation, which the blowers just can't sort out. Aside from mopping the windows with a towel, any suggestions on how to sort it out?

I was out in the middle of the desert with nobody around trying to see how fast my 8 would go. It's an automatic, which I know loses some power, but I was only in 5th gear, I had all of 6th gear to get more speed (and plenty of straightaway). It just revs and pegs at 125mph. How can I fix this?

Paid $900 for tune up and various repairs, then battery died. When recharged, white smoke heavy at startup, runs bad....2nd mechanic says computer dead, first mechanic said computer gave him 4 codes regarding various monitors and sensors. this looks very expensive and second hand computer apparently $500...just to find out whats wrong. Anybody had similar problem?
