Marvel Myster OIL in the Gas .... Yes. 1/2 a can to full tank.

The rotary motor Burns Oil in the 12A as part of its setup. And even tells you about it in the owners manual. Plastic lines to the carb.

Now your GXL is a 13B engine and has a Updated style Rotor seal So it has Oil injection for the rotor housing's and Still burns some oil...

NO 30, 10w30, 10w40, 20w50 in the gas tank... Thats just the wrong place to put it...

Good Question.... Also Fuel filter should bee changed every 15000 miles on a 13B or 20A B engine....

LOL at others.... Yes some people opt to run a ceartain type of oil in the fuel(not reg. engine oil) its called premixing. the rotary engine requires a small amount of oil in the combustion chamber in order to keep the apex seals lubricated....from the factory all mazda rotarys have oil injectors which inject oil from the engine into the intake (10a-12a) or directley into the rotar housing(13b-13brew-20B) the used engine oil is not the best option for this but it works However some people feel they would rather use a proper clean 2-stroke oil so they ushually disable the oem oil mettering system and premix a ceartain amount of 2-stroke oil into the fuel. and other due it in adition to the oem set-up to try and ad to the engines longevity. Most rotary race engines run premixed fuel.

for more details search rx7club.com for "pre-mix" and you wil find all kinds of info.

Absolute crap, gas goes in the tank leave it that way, just make sure there's oil in the engine, rotary engines are designed to burn oil at high RPM's

Thoes people would be Idiots. Oil is added into the engine for lubraction and not fur burning. DO NOT do this, it will pick up your fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel pick-up screen, pretty much, it will mess up your car. and if it does manage to run without clogging, you will be burning oil, and you will get a lot of smoke.

there is such a thing as top oil you can buy in small cans to add to the tank, for valve lubrication in a piston engine , but I don't know if it will help a rotary. :)
