as of right now there will be NO automatic in the Speed3. besides a auto would detract from the performance of the car. power seats may make an apperance as on option. but its all about price. and with an auto and power seat the price tag would be over 25,000 and mazada doesnt want that.

NO who would buy it? the car is made for performance minded people. the 07 and 06 model of the speed 6 didnt include an auto option so I wouldn't hold my breath.
However if you feel so inclined i suppose you could link the CX-7 auto trans to a speed 3 as it is the same engine. But you may need a big shoe horn.
