Has anybody tryed to Put a V8 into a 83', or around, Mazda B2000?

I'm trying to trade out the 2.0 engine out and stick a small block V8 into it. If anybody has any suggestion on it please post.

I saw a Ford Courier (same truck) with a 302 in it so there's enough room, but this was a poorly done installation. Do myour homework before starting.

check for clearances of steering components oil filter and pan as well overall fit. may need to replace front end with aftermarket fiberglass one.
