Mazda

I can't shift out of park. There is a little black switch on the upper-right corner of the gear shift that I thought was the override, but this doesn't seem to have any effect--it pulls out instead of moving down. Any help would be appreciated!

ok im new to the RX7 and what's with the Leading and Trailing spark plugs? are the two left plugs leading and two right plugs trailing? and which one is Leading 1 and Leading 2 (top or bottom). Same for the Trailing which one is T1 and T2. thanks

Our 89 Mazda 626 won't go after it is driven for a few blocks. As soon as you stop, the engine just reeves up and it won't go. If you shut if off and re start it...it will then go again for a few blocks. Any clue if this is the transmission or something else?

I love the look of sporty cars, but i don't want to drive with a manual tranmission. The mazda rx8 caught my eye and i have seen a few with automatic transmissions. I have heard a lot of things about the rx8 that worry me, like that its high maitenence, it eats up oil and gas quickly and some stuff about the rotary engine that sounds like a pain. I was wondering if these things are true only to the manual, or if they apply to the automatic aswell(or if they are even true at all).
I appreciate any information i can get on the car! thanx

I have a 2004 Mazda 3 i sedan and when my car shifts from 1st to 2nd gear it shifts hard. It only does this on the shift from 1st to 2nd though. When I accelerate slowly from a stopped position it doesn't seem to shift as hard. And just so that you know, I'm am not accelerating at full speed from a stopped postion to make it shift hard.I had it checked out and they can't find anything wrong. This is my first Mazda car and I was just wondering if maybe this was just something normal.
