Bongo Van is a Mid engine rear wheel drive...

1966 to 1978 and 1983 center floor panel comes out to get to the top of the engine...

If its the newer style MPV... Handle under the dash to open Hood pulling it pulls the cable to open the front. But this is a Mazda Bongo Friendee van SGL known as just MPV...
