1. My starter is getting replaced today. Could the starter had been shorted by a severe power steering leak I also have?
2. Where can I get "how to directions" offline on how to fix the power steering pump?
3. fuse is good, why don't my power mirrors work?
Any productive help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

please don't give me any crap about owning a Ford, in its defense, it does have 120,000 miles on it.

I have sqeaking coming from the front suspension on my 98 Ford Explorer Sport. I got underneath and nothings broke, and it's pretty clean except for minor rust. It only squeaks when the chasis bounces up and down. A few people from explorer clubs tell me its a common problem that can be resolved by greasing the suspension and bushings, but I dont know how. Thanx for any advice in advance.

Anybody know the stock exhaust size on a 1966 mustang with a 289. I'm not sure if it's 2" or 2.25" I am trying to get a exhaust system but I dont know the correct size for the pipes. Thanks

When cruising at 70mph for a while it will jump out of gear and not go back into gear until speed drops to about 40mph, i have checked the oil level and that is ok so i would love to hear from someone who could give me an idea of what it could be.

The fuse for the lighter has blown and I want to replace it. Mondeos have two fuseboxes - one in the engine and one behind the glove box. The lighter fuse should be in the glovebox fusebox but I cannot locate this fusebox.

My neighbor's new mustang cracked its engine block as a result of the crank snapping "just 45 miles from taking delivery of it at the dealership." Warranty he was told doesn't cover normal wear and tear parts and the engine is a wear and tear part- YET he has a bumper to bumper warranty. He is 68 years old and bought it because it was not anything special. Now he is stuck with a lawn ornament. WTF??? Anyone else have this problem before? He traded in his 35000 mile cherry last year made SS camaro. Now he regrets it.

I'm getting fire from the coil to the distributer.Not getting fire fom the distributer cap to the plugs. The cap and button have been replaced. Any ideas? I worked on it all day. Fresh out of ideas. Thanks in advance.

i have already changed out spark plugs and wires, got oil change, changed filters, took to autozone and had battery & alternator ck.I am losing a lot of oil but it"s not leaking on ground, don't know where it is going.one person told me to change some 02 sensor ! mechanic told me to replace engine because previos owners had overheated it before i got it but it has not overheated on me. please help because i don't want to be taken advantage of.

Do they make a power chip for this 4.9, it has a lot of power but I pull a boat a would like some more power! They make chips for just about all fords I just don't know if they make one for this one. Please help, I know there is a lot of good mechanics out there, that can help me.
