I don't think there is a "kit" for that car. But putting together your own setup isn't that hard. You can turbocharge just about anything if you feel like taking the time to make a couple parts. Also instead of looking for performance parts for the Escort GT--LOOK for performance parts for the Escort EXP--This was the one people were suping up.

I've had three. I'm not aware of any turbo's available. I have looked for as many performance mods as I could find there really isn't many for this car unfortunately. I recommend tuning it up perfectly, make sure all the vacuum lines are not leaking and are hooked up. The 1985 Escort had a turbo and was really fast but good luck finding one. The Ford Tempo had an available v-6 model, the configuration is similar and the suspension is the same. This would be your best bet for all out speed.

"in case you turn the main and not something take place, and you be attentive to your battery is powerful, hit upon the independent protection swap, it helps the automobile to in basic terms initiate if the kit sector is in independent or park. that's would desire to be have been you initiate with." this is a 5-velocity, there is not any longer a independent protection swap. Do you have oil interior the engine? Did the engine over warmth? attempt turning the crank with a socket and breaker bar, if it turns that's sturdy sign, because of the fact meaning the engine isn't locked up. became the automobile somewhat rolling once you tried popping the grab? I consistently executed that throughout the time of 1st kit. i think of it will initiate extra basic in 1st. seems such as you have an electric powered concern.....battery.
