It has the 31 spline 9 inch rear end.

It's a 31 Spline axle. Ford Never put 28 spline axles in the fullsize Broncos. I think the only fullsize truck to get 28 splines was the old F-100's

It takes ten minutes to pull an axel . There are no gaskets or seals that will be damaged in removing the axel . Pull it , count the splines and stick it back in . Total of 30 minutes.
