Ford claims its 1.4liter TDCi diesel gives that much mileage.
Take it with a pinch of salt. It may actually be giving about half that much in realistic conditions. The vehicle is pretty heavy and cannot be expected to have great mileage. Still pretty good though.

you are right.. Its gives 33 KM / liter (Desiel Only). Ford say you can get upto 33Km / Liter. They tested it in a high way with one person in 5th gear through out between 65 and 70 Km per hour. but in city dirve its not possible

don't be joking.....may be it will give a 16km at the max and that too at ideal conditions and the rest 17kms you may have to push the car along....
It is not possible to get such a mileage from a single litre because the displacement of the car is large.. to put i simple the cc that they mention is very large and the car delivers more power and torque and you have to pay a price for the more torque and power and you pay it terms of fuel....

yes , it is available.

( conditions apply- after every km on fuel @ 40 kmph; you switch off engine and push it for next two kms. Keep repeating the cycle. added benefits - it keeps you absolutely fit and fine. it saves you of Health-related bills as well).

so, it is sometime even more than - 33 km milage; when you have Darasingh as co-passenger!

happy motoring!!!

many-ques!!!
