The fuse for the lighter has blown and I want to replace it. Mondeos have two fuseboxes - one in the engine and one behind the glove box. The lighter fuse should be in the glovebox fusebox but I cannot locate this fusebox.

The owners manual should show you where it is.

its behind the glove box, remove glove box by lowering glove box, then remove the damper at the rear and far left, if you cant feel it get light and you will see it, just unclip it, then pull both sides of the glove box inwards until it drops down, then pull box forward sharply to remove, then you will see the fuse box clearly, there is a label on the box detailing the fuses, but its the fuse on the far left and half way up, think its 20amp yellow fuse , done so many but don't remember for sure.make sure you put fuse back in the same place as you can get it wrong, note exactly where it was!!!
