BMW

On both the passenger and driver side doors one has to pull the door handle twice to exit.

Once to unlock the door...
And then a second time to open the door...

What function does this serve?
Who would want to unlock the door, but not exit?
Would this not pose a safely hazard?

BMW is fastidious when it comes to detail...
I am surprised that they would implement such a design feature if it did not serve a particular function...

The lights on my BMW are amazing, except on low beam I feel like they are a little too low (ie pointing too low on the road, not lighting up enough of the road ahead), especially the one on the driver's side. Can the dealership adjust this easily? Does anyone else notice this?

i have 1994 325i i live upstate and i've been slipping n sliding ALL over the place.....at 20mph i'm scared to go any faster
which tires should i get (i currently have 4 new yokohamas trz 205/60/15) this is my first winter driving the car and its fairly mint i don't want to crash it....i've been hearing different things get 2 studded snows for front, or get all studded tires, winter tires, skinnier tires(but i'm not sure what size to downgrade for winter)....im not sure what to to do, give me opinions or suggestions....................

I've bought this one. My imression is that this car is great for reasonable price. And what is the most important thing this is coupe. Engine isn't huge but economic. Driving makes pleasure and this car is comfortable for four passangers. That's fully equiped but without leather.
Now I need to change oil. What do you thing about which one is the best? And the tires for winter tires - we've got winter in Poland.

This past May, I bought a used BMW Z3 roadster, and completely love it. BMW is honestly one of the best brand automobiles you can purchase. I will always buy BMW's from now on, but I still must say I love the older design a lot better than the newer models. The older models (really anything from 03,04 in some models back) look pure german. The newer ones look more like japanese makes, but nevertheless, they are simply remarkable.

I have a 316i 1995 bmw why does it on occations seem to just suddenly shift & give me more take off speed than it usually does, etc, more power @startoff .
