I've bought this one. My imression is that this car is great for reasonable price. And what is the most important thing this is coupe. Engine isn't huge but economic. Driving makes pleasure and this car is comfortable for four passangers. That's fully equiped but without leather.
Now I need to change oil. What do you thing about which one is the best? And the tires for winter tires - we've got winter in Poland.

Congratulations. The 318is is a nice car that works well. The only thing you need to be careful is driving in snow, since in 1995, I don't believe the cars came with ASC+T.

Here's a list of BMW approved oils. Use whichever brand you like, but make sure it's synthetic and meets the BMW LL-01 ("BMW Longlife") specs. Make sure you see "BMW LL-01" in their specs sheet.

Here's a full list of every oil that has this. But in your case of course, don't pick the ones for diesel engines...Since you are in winter season now, I would recommend using a 0W oil on the list. I use Castrol 0W-30 on mine.

For winter tires, I recommend using the stock 205/60-15 size. It's also a good idea to get a separate set of cheap wheels to fit these tires since you really don't want to stress the tires mounting and unmounting them on the same wheels every winter. I managed to snag a set cheap of BMW OEM alloys for my winter tires from eBay.

The folks up north in New England swears by Nokian Hakkapeliittas. I on the other hand chose some Bridgestone Blizzak Revo 1.

Go to tirerack.com to get some ideas. They test many tires themselves, usually on a BMW.
