Our 1994 Jeep was totally destroyed by fire. The reason was because of a flat tire, we put the original, never used, compact tire on it and aprox. 9 miles down the road, our Jeep caught on fire. The Jeep was in mint condition with only 60,000 miles on it,Has anyone ever filed a claim with their insurance company over this kind of thing? we would like to hear from you. Please email me at rsh_sndy@yahoo.com. We are going to court with Chrysler Corperation. Thanks

I have a rodeo and i think something is wrong with the brakes. on dry or wet pavment i can slam on the brakes and it will come to a wuiet stop without and skidding or loss of traction. but on the snow when i hit the brake there is the most annoying buzzing sound, and the brake peddal vibrates. is this normal? is the abs at work or is it malfunctioning?

P.S brakes are new and I have good condition A/T tires.

I replaced shoes on my car. They needed drums too. The drums are old and rusted and don't want to come off. It was sugessted that I back off adjusting screw through one of the holes in the backing plate. What does it look like? Can I use a screw driver to do this? Can a TV mechanic like myself get it done? Its frustrating that the drums don't budge at all. A mechanic said that they were adjusted too tight. Please help and thank you in advance.

It's not in the maintenance manual, and it broke today. I'm hoping that's all that went wrong.

I asked this earlier and got a couple of replies so I wanted to provide more information. I have a 2005 Nissan Altima and the trunk will sometimes not open with the internal button on the dash or the FOB. I have to use the emergency latch by dropping the back seat.

I checked the Valet button and its ok and have lubricated the connections. I have taken it into my local dealer but it will never act up when its there. When it is doing this problem the trunk will make no noises at all.

It appears to primarily do it in cold weather as I had this problem last winter and this winter, but never over the summers.

I was wondering how much would it be to replace the heater blower motor on my car and also how much the labor costs would be?.

My 2003 Ford Expedition just began having an issue with the 4x4 today.

It happens that the 4High & 4Low range lights began blinking upon startup and about every 30 seconds while driving. In addition to that the 4x4 doesn't engage, Whether if I put it in A4WD, 4High, or 4Low, I get now response by the truck or the indicator on the Cluster.

It worked like a charm for the past 2 weeks since we've had snow/ice. Right now, I'ts only working as 2WD.

sure I have turned the crank 20 degrees and removed the tensioner but still don't have enough slack. Is it safe to turn the crank more than 20 degrees? Thanks.

Yeah, well I'm going to travel, and the roads are going to be snowy therefore I will need to use 4x4 but I don't know if that's automatic, as the car always that the function on or what, but yeah if it isn't always 4x4 then how do I set it to be 4x4?

I'm looking to buy a car, and my dream car has always been a Camaro. My parents are skeptic about the 68-69 Camaro because they say it will break down too much and cost a lot in repairs. What Camaro should i look for? The late 60's ones, the late 80's or the early to mid 90's

The gage in the dash that shows the battery charging is my problem, When I start the truck the gaug goes over 1/2 way.
In about 10 seconds it goes back over to the left all the way. It starts fine everytime. At night the lights dont go dim at all. And of course when this happens I get the Check gauges light.
Any thoughts

i own a 94 300zx nonturbo and was looking into making it a bit quicker. I dont want to add any horsepower, but i am really interested in re-doing the gears in the rear end instead. I would like gears that would give me quicker 0-60 times, but still offer me good gas mileage. I would at least like top car to top out at a hundred mph, right now it will hit 137 mph. I want to keep the motor stock, but want to change gears instead. I know that jeeps and off road vehicle use super low gears and can climb over anything. My friend has a rock crawler buggy powered by a 120hp motor that climbs over anything. Is the same idea applied to sports cars? if so what gears would be advised for someone like myself

I'm buying it from a junkyard. How should I know if I see a 1995 Galant Idle Air Control Valve, for example, if it fits to my 1997 Galant? I need to know which other Galant model valves are compatible to my 1997 Galant. Thanks for all your help.
