I'm looking to buy a car, and my dream car has always been a Camaro. My parents are skeptic about the 68-69 Camaro because they say it will break down too much and cost a lot in repairs. What Camaro should i look for? The late 60's ones, the late 80's or the early to mid 90's

If you can aford the 97-69 get one as the value will and is going up.
Two they are easier to work on with no computer and are cheaper.

80's computer and lack th power of th other two. They are th cheapet of all bodies.

93-2002 loaded with computers and plastic.great cars, and are evry where.

70's persnal fave. same as th 69 but cheaper.

if and when you get one look up z28.com for help.

just because you hve a camaro don't mean you have a mullet.

Your Parents have not got a clue. A 69 Camaro has the no computer and other new electronic unnecessary garbage to go wrong with. The biggest problem are there high price tag. The 80's are cheaper to buy but most have been beat to death. You can find a real good one if you look hard enough. The 90's are ugly and have way to much computer junk that can go wrong with them. Don't forget the 70's models. They still look good Parts are easy to get. And there not as expensive as the 60's are.

Actually the 69 and 69 is much easier to work on and parts are everywhere. There are many motor combinations from a screaming 302 a stout 327 or a 375 hp. 396.

69 man theres no competition with that forget the 89 and 95 but its a problem though one can you find one, next do you have the $ to buy one or restore it, then theres gas prices with a big block in it you will have a hard time keeping it on the road, repairing them if you know cars you can do that yourself but hey if the 69 camaro is what you want get it i would
