I owe a 94 Yj and i was driving down the road today when i was approaching a stoplight. on the otherside of the intersection was one of those new jeep commaders or w/e. the ones that look like hummers. Anyways, he waved to me, and seeing as how he has like 5 points or none, idk for sure with all the new models, I wasnt sure wether to wave back, seeing as how they never ever wave, or to regect the wave. I sat there for a moment and thought about what to do. When he waved again, waiting for me to wave back. I have read the jeep wave rules before but i was baffled. I adventually waved back but i wasnt sure what to do. I was a little confused about y he waved at me first and did not wait for me to wave to him. I guess he had some balls driving that plastic piece of **** passed me, but im still uncertain wether or not to wave to the new suv jeeps. Any thoughts would be appriciated.

I'm driving down Interstate 4 last week and I swore I saw a Lexus pickup truck drive past me.. It looked like a smaller truck, like Nissan Frontier size, not F-250 size.. I looked on Lexus's site, but see nothing about a pickup..

On two occasions now (both when it's been very cold), my remote has refused to lock the car. I do get 3 chirps to indicate it hasn't locked, which tells me the remote battery is fine. (Usually 3 chirps means there is a door/hood/trunk ajar.)

Last time this happened, the battery slowly drained as well. The problem turned out to be that the hood contact switch was stuck--an easy fix. Now I'm having the same problem again (doors won't lock w/remote, getting the 3 chirps) but the hood switch seems to be fine. I didn't notice the problem until I opened the trunk (for the second time) today; when I closed it and then tried to lock the car with the remote, it wouldn't lock. I pressed the trunk switch several times and it seems to be working properly.

I'm thinking a switch or relay must be malfunctioning somewhere...any ideas of what I could test next, or where the problem might be?

Just bought this van and there is a slight clunking noise in the front end when going over even small bumps and ruts in the road. Is this a known problem in this make, model and year? What could it be?

The first issue is cold starts in the morning. When I start the car in the morning it idles very rough then seems to settle down after about five minutes. I thought this was an obvious glow plug problem. I had all the glow plugs and the relay replaced but the problem persisted.

The second part to this idling problem takes place when the car is warm. A typical scenario is this: I’m driving on the freeway and the car is running perfectly. When I exit the freeway and come to an idle at say, a stoplight, the car starts to idle roughly. Sometimes the problem is so bad the car looks like an out of balance washing machine.

Despite my fears, the car has never died but it feels like it will at any moment. Overall, it feels like the car is starving for fuel. Maintenance wise, the filters are clean and I add the occasional fuel treatment.

Just last week, I had the injectors replaced, to the tune of 668.00. When I started the car the next morning the problem remained. Help!

the left and right blinkers on my 05 grand am mysteriously stopped working a few days ago, then started working again. on my way home today, they did not work at all. so i call pontiac and they tell me to take it to a specific dealer to look at the car so i went there and low and behold my blinkers were working but the tech says theres not much they can do if its working. is that true or do i need to go to a different dealer? she also said to drive by when they arent working but thats a little difficult if i have other obligations.
