Hows the plug wires and have you pulled the plugs to see it they are wet (with fuel).
? is there fuel getting into the carb and does it sound like it wants to start or does it just turn over.

As they said before check spark and fuel. just take a spark plug wire to do this.spray carb cleaner into the carb if starts then its the fuel problem then take the fuel line off at the carb to see if theres fuel getting up to it if there is you need to rebuild your carb or if you have a carb with the filter in the carb replace it. if none most likely the fuel pump

Likely one of two problems. Either your carb needs work or you have an electrical problem with the coil or distributor. Eliminate each by checking for fuel or spark.

it could be one of three things... first make sure clean fuel is getting to the carb. if its getting fuel. check for spark. and then air, just a new air filter.

I wouldnt be surprised if it's the ignition module in the distributor. Is it getting a good spark? It has HEI Ignition........correct?
