maybe one with some miles on it.

Theres a black S on ebay right now with a buy it now of 47. Hell of a deal if you ask me.

that being said, there are far better cars for that much. You can get a very nice 996 carrera for about 30. a c5 corvette z06 (although i did not like how this car drives) for around 30-32, a e46 BMW M3 for about 32, an audi RS6 (seriously underrated and awesome car!) for around 45, or a subaru WRX STi or Mitsubishi EVO for 25-30. all will be as just as fast (or faster in almost all cases) than the cayman, and save you serious cash, not to mention be far more practical day to day.

note: i left out all of the older cars I like too, simply to keep in the same style car youre looking at. all will be daily drivable and pretty reliable.

and no cayman costs 120,000 dollars. the S model is around 60 new.

I think that would be a tough order at the moment. Used Cayman S models I've seen have run from about $49k to $60k depending on options and mileage, etc.

In 6-10 months, we'll probably see the first of the regular Cayman models coming back, and these will probably fall into this range quickly.

For the moment though, if you found one in that price range, it would most likely be a car that you would be wise to avoid.

maybe just try ebay you can get good deals there and there is no way a cayman could cost $120,000 but the carerra is the only one i can think of that is around $100,000-$110,000

no, however you Can find porsche boxters in good used condition for around $30-40,000 and while they are convertibles you can get factory hard tops to cover them.

If you got $45K, then you should have no trouble getting together another 5-10K.

45K will buy a used one.
