I have a 97 Ford Explorer and it blows out cold air. I've changed the thermostat and flushed all the hoses, radiator, as well as the hoses to the heater core. There seems to be some type of valve located just before the hoses that go through the firewall to the heater core that opens and closes when the heat is turned on and off; I checked that and it’s working fine. I've also checked the water pump weep hole for leakage and it doesn’t seem to be leaking at all. The only thing I can think of is the heater control itself, because the temperature doesn’t change at all, when I move the dial from hot to cold. Has anyone had any similar problems, or have an idea as to what it could be?
