i changed all the wiring harness & sensors..fuel rail & coil packs..seems to run,but has a miss & knock when under power..is the firing order the same?do i need to change the computer..or is something not connected correctly?

ive heard of some people putting ford 460s in their mustangs im wondering if it is a good idea. and im wondering if the auto matic transmission, motor, motormounts, and gears out of the rear end would work in my mustang, its a 1984 ford mustang.

I have checked all vacuum hoses, made sure the accellerate cable is free etc. - done all the basics and even replaced the idle valve - but still the idle is too high - Cheyenne P/U 1989 - 305 small block with TBI injectors. Any ideas?

I'm considering trading my tank of an Excursion for something economical. Okay, a little more economical. A sedan was my choice, since I'm too old for a sporty coupe, and there's only two people in my house, and I already have 3 SUV's, why do I need an Excursion? After all, it was mainly designed for small moms who can't drive. I narrowed it down to two vehicles in my price range. A Lincoln LS, and a Jaguar S-Type 4.2! But I can't decide! I have a 03 cobra bumper that i wanna put on my 00 GT. Only problem is that its a different color, so i wanna get it painted but ive been quoted around $250. I'd rather just do it myself. So i was wondering how much paint should i buy to paint the bumper? ok another mustang question. my car lacks power all of a sudden. i noticed it was throwing out all the gas through a torn gromit from the gas tank and the pipe where you put the gas, could this lead to lack of fuel pressure and therefore not enough gas being distributed or do you think it could be something else

It's been in my family for quite awhile now...and now it's mine. But about 5 years ago my dad said the engine started running really rough...like at first it was just a small miss here and there, but then it turned into constant missing and running rough at idle. I'd like to get this fixed...does anyone else have this problem, and if so, how did you fix it? the car is fine to drive and everything...just runs rough when stopped. has 148,000 miles. thanks for your help.
