A 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS with 203,500 miles on it for $5,000 OR a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GT with 68,000 miles on it for $9,000???

I just wanna get the cheaper one because I acually have the money. but i dont wanna spend that much money anyways fixing it up. please help!

Oh, and what's the difference between a GT or GS?

I live in UK and drive a Mercedes C220 CDi, I get 55mpg on freeway driving and 45mpg combined driving.
How does this compare with the American version of the same car?

I was recently 'over there' and found it amusing to see advertisers claiming 32mpg to be 'great milage', I know that your gas is a great deal cheaper than ours but if I was only getting 32mpg I would be ditching my car for a bicycle.

I want smooth, commutable, luxurious car with a big trunc so that

I can put my golf bag and push cart easily.

What would be my options?


Bentley? Maybach? or what else?

I've heard bently is smooth, but also people say 'trunc is too small'

Does Maybach have a big trunc? Is it smooth like 'lexus' ?

Do I have any other options other than those cars?

My 2003 Vibe idles low at stoplights and shakes like the engine is going to die (although it doesn't and usually the RPM's move up and down a bit, but always stay below 1000). One mechanic has said this is because its in need of a tuneup (it has 40k on it, bought it at 18k, have done regular maintenance since then, but no tuneups), another says more than likely the fuel injection system is dirty, and that the tuneup is out of the question at 40k. Who is right?
