The car with 68,000 is priced better than the one with 203,500. I use actual auction results to price cars, and the GT is worth the $9000.
I would not think that the GS with the high miles would be worth any more than $4500.
Whichever you decide, have the car checked out by your own mechanic, prior to purchase, so you know what the mechanical condition is, and if there are problems!

dont listhen to this fools saying honda is better than mitsubishi...what a ricers...i know mitsubishi got some mech problems, but its not a big deal...most of the problems arent the engine, its usually paint defect, bending rims and crap, MIVECs are fine then some junk honda that can only go up to 120 tops...and how many hondas do u see on the high way, everyday i see a dozen...i dont wanna blend in as the fast and furiouse honda people...sh!ts weak.
i bought a 01 mitsubishi gt, its great, transmission are like cutting butter, its so smooth. i got mine for 7900.(my car had 80000 miles on it when i bought it), then i bought insurance and crap and everything including tax coasted me under 10000 dollars.
and if u r buying a car from a dealership, they offer you some kind of warranty for a thousand dollars, like 1 year 2000miles or something, so if your car breaks down you can always count on ur dealer to fix it.
and diff btw gs and gt are, gs is just a base model and gt is level up, gt also have a much better engien. 3.0 cyln with 24valve...its powerfull.
both eclipse have pros and cons, but if it was up to me i did get the spyder, i know its gs, but its sports car u just want to jump into car without touching anything and drove off, its tight...i wish i had that deal when i was buying mt eclipse and 4000 cheaper, thats enough money to fix it up

The one with the most miles your going to be putting alot of money into it because it is about at its limit for mileage to need a complete overhaul. The one with 68,000 miles would be your better buy. But I would suggest you look in the Auto Trader because you can find some really good deals in there. If you bent on getting a specific car then prepare to fork out the mula. But if you want the best buy cheaper, then you should consider either a Cavalier or Neon. I found a Neon for $5,000 with 11,000 miles on it and it was in beautiful shape for a 1998. Mint condition in and out. I get 27 miles to the gallon. Good Luck.

So, bad decision or bad decision. Tough choice.
Do some research on Mitsubishi's lousy resale values and poor dependability, then buy a Honda or Toyota.
