I dont know much about hybrid cars...are they really worth it? The gas milage? the more environment friendliness? Any other benefits? What about setbacks? is there anything that you compormise performance-wise with a hybrid? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hey everyone i need advice.... okay so i have a 2001 toyota camry that i bought used from the toyota dealership ive had it for about 2 years.... i pay 350 a month which 150 goes straight to interest. i know i got raped on the interest but i had no choice the car is under my grandpas name cuz i was only 16 when i bought it and therefore had no credit.... ive grown extremely unhappy with my car and would like to trade it in but its only valued at 5000 and i owe 8200 so i would like to know if anyone has any ideas or maybe programs that could help me to pay it off quicker so i could trade it in without going upside down... any alternatives to refinancing? your help would be greatly appreciated thanks

I'm looking to buy a 4X4 pick-up. It needs to have a back seat and be safe. It would be great if it had good gas mileage too as I'm a college student. It also would be good if it was good for off roading. Which pickups are the best?

Are there any list available to the general public stating type of vehicle, mileage, year, make, model, condition, asking price, etc. I'm looking to purchase a bank or finance company repo without having to attend any type of auto auction.

Is it still possible to sell a car to a mechanic without the transferable slip? Can I print the form from the DMV online?

I was to buy a car today. When it got down to signing, some strange things occurred. He changed the interest fee by 11/2 % from day previous, listed the price as $1,000 more than what it was (but this did not reflect in actual total), charged me administration fee (car lot) and bank fee (financing company) and wrote in a $1,000 fee for delivery (60 kms!). Delivery supposed to be free b/c the owner of the lot wanted to hold the car until the finance co's cheque cleared; not as I expected, that I would take it today. Small dealer normally not dealing with higher% financing companies. I've never been so confused. I think I really could have been taken. If they cashed the cheque, and then got my signature for the $1000 drop-off, they never would have had to give me the car. I pointed this out to them, as well as the other things that didn't make sense. Then he said he'd change it to what would make me happy. I have experience only with private deals. Can you provide clarity?

Looking to buy either a ford focus - lx model or a mazda 3. Anybody who owns one of these cars I would appreciate an honest opinion on them. How much are they? What are they like to drive? What are they like inside?

I just bought a car on Monday, and have since discovered that the car is not for me. I did take it for a test drive, but obviously not for long enough. The car (Mazda3, hatchback, 2005, 23520 miles now) is in great condition, but being a larger person with a 3 month old tailbone injury, it just doesn't work.

Once I return the extended warranties that I bought, I will owe $4000 on it. I financed it through the Honda dealership that I bought it from. If I sold it through Carmax, I believe that Carmax would take care of paying off the financed part, and cut me a check for the remaining.

What if I wanted to sell it via Autotrader? I would want to get about $17500 for it (the original factory warranty is good until 7/09 or 50,000 miles). I know I have to wait until I have plates for the car, but how would I sell it to a private party? I wouldn't have the title until the car was paid off, and I wouldn't be able to pay the car off until I get the money for it? Can I still FSBO?
