Are there any list available to the general public stating type of vehicle, mileage, year, make, model, condition, asking price, etc. I'm looking to purchase a bank or finance company repo without having to attend any type of auto auction.

Check the auction house's website. My own experience has been that they often do list vehicles that will be appearing soon at auction.

As far as I know, there aren't any lists published that include all of the criteria for which you are searching. At best, you'll get year, make, model, condition and type vehicle. However, most banks, repo, and/or police impounds are only sold at auction. Check the newspapers for local listing of sales.

http://www.usa.gov/shopping/byagency/byagency.shtml <<<< this link actually takes you to the governments offical auction site. It gives a number of links, some of which do have car auctions by the gonverment. I hope this helps.
