Honestly my answer is yes its worth the wait but it will be more closer to a year or even a year and a half.

the BMW M3 will kick *** (400HP) http://www.caranddriver.com/autoshows/12525/2008-bmw-m3.html

This is the latest on the skyline (app 500hp or even more unconfirmed yet) and it just might kick more *** than the M3 http://www.caranddriver.com/carnews/12048/spied-2009-nissan-skyline-gt-r.html

or you could get a temp car on a 2-3year lease on a 350z or the new corvette which is amazing! The porsche boxster S or the cayman are simply amazing to drive. Those are a few choices.

Its up to you, right now you cant beat the Corvette for its bang for the buck, the Z06 even keeps up with the super cars with 500 hp for just for 65k! thats the most amazing deal and on top of that the Z06 can handle and its the best performance bargain in the world!
that would be my best bet if u cant wait.

If u need more doors then id suggest the the Audi Rs4 which beats the current M3 check out the comparison test http://www.caranddriver.com/comparisons/9846/comparison-test-review-audi-rs-4-quattro-vs-bmw-m3-vs-mercedes-benz-c55-amg.html

I would suggest a few other cars but i dont know what your price range is at... hope this info helps.

hi, i'm a Porsche proprietor, and that i'm questioning in case you have $150K as you declare to spend why are you buying little low-fee toys? Albeit the Skyline has some potential, yet do no longer you choose a real vehicle? The $150K variety has some rather cool automobiles, and you're able to do greater valuable on your funds. basically questioning? A GT3 could be had for that budget and this is waaaaaay greater vehicle...this is that in case you may take care of it!? in reality in case you choose a sidestep get a late Viper if funds isn't an argument. in reality a GT-40 could be had too with that funds, so back I ask why do no longer you choose some genuine muscle and velocity with some flare too?

There's a new toy every year, my friend! You can live forever without buying a car if you "wait" for the next model year to see if something new comes out.

Just go for it! Get a 2007 and be done with it! When 2008 rolls around you're liable to be asking the same question about 2009!
