Selling a used car.....?

Is it still possible to sell a car to a mechanic without the transferable slip? Can I print the form from the DMV online?

If by "transferable slip" you mean the "Title" -- the answer is no.

When he goes to change the car over to his name at the DMV they will ask him for it and refuse the transaction if he doesn't have it.

You can SELL it to him, but it would still be under your name.

You don't want this risk.
