Someone I know purchased a car and was promised the title would come in the mail the following week. 4 months later and no title and the previous owner says she sent it (no proof) and there's nothing else she can do. We live in Indiana and it was purchased in Chicago. As far as I know, there were no contracts signed during the sale. Any ideas? Is she just out all that money and stuck with a un-drivable car? Thanks :)

it runs great but is just missing exhaust and needs a new plug and battery.this local guys comes and buys up used or not ridden anymore quads and bikes.i dont want to get ripped off.but what would the value of this quad be with it running great but needing a new plug and battery and exhaust?other than that it runs perfect.so how much should i get for it.what would be a fair price.

I'm looking for a new vehicle. I found one for a good price, but it has a salvage title, only due to water damage, The car runs good and is ready for the road. What problems might occur in the future? Is it okay now or will i have to worry about some underlying problem? The Car is a new 06 and only has 146 Miles on it.

Gas prices are killing me. Is it possible to trade in Tundra for something with better gas milage and not end up paying more than the 15,000 I alread owe? Online source says I could get 16-19 on a trade in by a dealer. 1005 Tundra has 20 k and is in very good condition.

to fix it. after that it ran okay. but now that same oil problem is back and the car has oil all over the fly wheels and etc. also i let my 16 yr old son drive the car to school 1 day and it happen to be a day that it was k9 day. the police did a drug sniff on the car and found drug residue. they did not lock him up,because the knew he did not do drugs and the knew me. what is my legal recourse in this as to having the dealer let me trade this car back in? any advice.
