Good to see so many Craigslisters on here. I agree with everyone about putting the car for sale on Craigslist. You don't have to pay and you can post 4 pictures of the car and have room to write a massive description of the car, unlike a newspaper ad that only allows you a couple of words. Don't trade the car in. Even if the car was bone stock, they would still give you a crappy deal and turn around and sell it for $18,180 if they put it back to stock. That dollar amount is the Blue Book value of what a dealer would try and sell the car for in metro L.A. Just a reference, may be more or less in your area. Another incentive in selling the car yourself would be that the mods will attract buyers (enthusiasts) and you'll be able to sell the car quicker and get closer to your asking price. Just make sure you include any OEM parts in the sale that you may have taken off or replaced (shocks, springs, intake, wheels, etc).

Why not try Craigslist? If you are not familiar with this web site type in Craigslist in your search engine then choose Craigslist.
After you open the web site look on the left side of the screen for information to post an ad. The ad is totally free, therefore, give it a try and if it doesn't sale you are not out anything. I sold a pontoon boat in 1 hour using Craigslist so I am a believer.

Your absolute best bet is to remove the modifications that will certainly lower the value of the car. Don't ask me why, I didn't make it that way, but it doesn't make it any less the case.
As for where to sell it, I think that craigslist.org or autotrader.com are both fantastic places to start. Also running an ad in the local newspaper wouldn't hurt, but these things can get expensive, which is why I love craigslist, always free.

Nothing beats selling to someone you know or someone who knows someone you know. That starts there, if you can't find anybody who'd take your car try
Craigslist
Myspace classifieds
www.hondaforum.com
I think they have classifieds for the forums. And sometimes, you can find peole who'd want modified vehicles.
If all else fails find someone who will sell it for you. A used car store wont be best unless you know someone from inside.

try craigslist...i sold a car on there w/o any problems. just make sure to list all the details...it cuts down on the number of pain in the butt phone calls. you can post photos, and have ppl contact you by phone, email, etc.
best of luck.

sell it privately because you will get more money. Car yards rip you off big time! and in your case you could get alot more $$$ selling it yourself.
Dont remove the mods. if you sell it privately people will like them.
