We looked at a used Isuzu Rodeo and would like to purchase it. The seller still owes the bank money and the title will not be sent until it is paid off.

My first question is how does he sell the vehicle if he still owes money on it?

What is the proper way to buy this vehicle?

I have a 2002 Ford Taurus, and I'm currently financing it. I've only had it since July of 2005, so my estimated negative equity would be around 3 or 4 thousand. I wanted to keep a monthly payment of 300/month. But since I'm too early into my financing, I'd have to wait for my payments to go down.

Anyway, I'm obsessing over a few cars that I want to have. These are my choices

* New Beetle
* New model Mustang
* Dodge Charger
* Chevy Cobalt
* New Eclipse

Please give me advice and let me know which one is best. Not only by appearance, but by safety, perfomance and endurance. Thanks.

....so far I'm really deciding between the Cobalt and the Charger.

Actually, when I say "New Car", it will more than likely be a used car. I am currently a student and I don't have a lot of money. I live in the mountains so snow and Ice are very common during the winter. I am bent between the Toyota RAV4, Subaru Forester, And Ford Escape. I am in desperat need of advive. Thanks.

I am curious has anyone out there purchased a used car from a no-hassle/haggle dealer and the dealer actually lowered the price? Specifically, the dealership is CarMaxx.

My car is a well maintained and I never had engine problems. Even at that any type of problems. I drove it on the freeway to his dealership stand and heard no noises. He claims that if you drive for about five minutes it starts making noise, then goes away. He states he knows this type of cars very well and that V8 mustangs always have these problems.

I need a decent car. I know that Nissan's last usually as long as you are good to it. I found a nice used car for college, it's a 94 Nissan with 135k for miles which I know anything over 100k is taking a risk but I need a car, and fast. Good or Bad Idea? Its in my limited price range and I cant get a loan so does anyone have advice? I checked it out and it seems to run well.

My father in law gave us an '88 Volvo that he never had the title for. He has since passed away and we would like to sell the car, since we have never used it. How in the world are we to find out who held the title and/or get a copy of it. He gave us the car around 3 years ago. Or,do we even need the title, can we just sell it or scrap it for money?

I am considering buying a new car and I have been told that there are disadvantages of buying cheaper imported cars on line. Is the insurance more, is the selling price less when need is required etc? The on line companies that sell these cheaper priced cars state that the vehicles are sold as British recommendation.

I recently totaled my 2004 Honda Accord. After the current lein is paid off I will have $12,000 from my insurance company to put down on a new car. I may not put it all down but I need to keep my payments low right now. I am definitely getting another new Accord. Do I tell them I am putting that kind of money down? Will it help me get a lower price? What is the best way to go about this?
