I can not decide between the 07 camry and accord. I narrowed my search down to these because they are the most gas efficient, reliable, cars. What are pros and cons to each and which would you get and why. right now im leaning toward the camry cause my dad has a 06 accord and my sister has a 07 accord coupe

thanks for any help

I am renting an economy car for one day through enterprise. Any idea what the average cost of rental insurance they offer is? I'll be calling them later on. Just wondering ahead of time what I should expect to pay, on average. Thanks

I never thought of buying a car off ebay. I was searching for a car part and then was scaning through cars for sale. What a deal! Problem is some of them almost sound too good to be true. I mean if the seller has 100% good feed back and they give history/details about the car and are willing to answer any questions, what can be the problem? Has anyone actually bought a car off ebay and were you happy with it? Can anyone give me tips on buying a car off ebay? Thanks!

from a used car dealer. We registered it and insurured it. We paid 900.00 on sales tax. I went and got pictures for the insurance company. Then I took it to get a sticker and it didnt pass. It needed brakes and one air shock. We brought it back, the guy we bought it from said he cant afford to fix it, so we have to pay half. Now this car has a 30 day warranty, it should of been looked at before we bought it. I have 3 children and not alot of time and money to get my money back and wait for the 900.00 for the sales tax and no time to look for another one. I have been driving my husband pickup truck and it has screwed my whole wk up because i have to get him from work. What can I legally do in this situation?

Currently I've come into a stuck situation where I'm having some difficulty obtaining a car loan. I have bad credit due to several past layoffs, and I'm now working on recovering from that. I'm wanting to purchase a used truck for about $13,000 and I already have about $7000 saved for a down payment. I make a good steady salary now ($70k/yr) and I could probably get the difference paid off in a matter of months. However, I can't get banks or credit unions to finance me (they all but laughed at me when I applied) and I'd really rather not go with one of those rinky-dink operations that require a 60 month loan at 25% on their car lots only.

I don't mind paying the higher interest rate as I'm expecting this, and the vehicle I'm looking at is from a private person and not a dealership, so I have to obtain financing myself. Does anyone have any ideas to finance something for a shorter term, maybe 12-24 months for $4000-6000?

Any ideas?? Serious answers only please.

I was looking at the price (Private Party Value) of a 97 Honda Accord SE, 113K miles.
Edmunds: $4114 (clean condition)
Kelly: $4825 (good condition)
Why so much difference???

Other than the transmission needing replaced, the car is in reasonably good condition considering it has 144,000 miles. Kelly Blue Book value is @ $2500 in poor-fair condition but that is rough b/c no specific questions about the transmission were asked and that is the only major thing wrong with the car. There is also a small dent on the front right bumper. Should I donate it, try to sell it, or use a 3rd party such as Carmax or caralternative.com? I still owe $1700 on it and would like to get enough money through the best means to pay off the remaining debt if possible. I didn't trade the car in when I bought my new car because I bought the new car in a different state and the cost of towing would have been a nightmare. This is the first car I've had to get rid of. Your advice will be most appreciated.

You would call them when your at the dealership. There would be a gaurentee of money back if your not satisfied. The biggest part of the service is making sure your not being scamed or screwed by the dealer. The service and company are both legitamate.
