i bought a used car from my sister i have to have a safety test done she has a crack on her bumper will the safety test pass?

yes, it should. body damage usually does not effect the inspection unless it is so severe as to create a hazard. the car could be missing the bumper all together, and it should still pass.

States regulate their safety test rules differently, but unless the bumper is falling off or either impeding the basic operation of your car or if it is obscuring the tail lights -- you should be fine. I would check with the Department of Motor Vehicles in your state. They should have a website. Here is ours.

The auto shops know what can and can't pass. A crank in the bumper may be ok dependong on how deep it is. I'm not too sure though. The safety isn't as great as you would think.

In UK it's not a problem.. as long as it's not dangling or swaying all over the place..or look as if it's ready to fall of .. otherwise you should be okay

Is everything eles like lights, horn,etc.. working? they dont go by how the car looks!but by if the needed elements are working!

Well, you should have had her do this BEFORE you bought it, but like others are saying it shouldn't affect any tests they do.

should do they usually only test things like the lights brakes etc

As long as it doesn't protrude and cause a hazard for pedestrians you sould be fine.
