Buying & Selling - December 2006

My credit is super and his is poor. I dont want to face a repo, but i really cant afford the payments. I have talk to plenty of people who are willing to take over payments, if i leave the car in my name so the payments stay low, which are $252.84 for a 99 white tahoe. I really want someone to take over my payments and get the car out of my name.......what should i do? what are my options?

I purchased a 2003 Impala a few months ago, the total was $18,000 with monthly payments of $385.00 + Insurance. But I think is too much. What should I do? I don't know if I should take it back but I know it will be really bad for my credit. HELP

I've searched the internet looking for info and see on Kelley Blue Book site that people either love them or hate them. Some say they run forever and some say they're always in the shop...I suppose as many are sold you have to anticipate that there's gonna be a lemon or two in the bunch...but how do I know if the one I want is a lemon? The one I'm looking at was a leased vehicle at one time and then a "fleet car" which I don't know what that means. It is a 1998 Chevy Blazer 4 x 4 LT with less than 54,000 miles on it. KBB.com says at this stage it should have at least 83,000, so I'm excited about the miles. They're wanting $8950...of course I will negotiate because the bank says the blue book is $7950.

If I have a dealer swap cars to get the Honda I want in stock, will this cost me any more money over and above what I would otherwise pay for the car? I can't find much on this online, and I'm curious as to any experiences others have had when dealing with dealer trades or swaps.
