Wagon R, without doubt. Looks are subjective. Wagon R has great driving comfort. You feel like driving more and more. The view from the cabin is fantastic and the steering is effortless thanks to power steering. the space utilisation is unique. You feel like you are inside a SUV.

Okay, the other guy gave you details of the Wagon- R which is esentially a tall boy structure which means low stability in high speeds. As for me I would definately opt for the Zen. New as well as old coz I had a Zen for 5 long years and i enjoyed each and every drive i had in it. I will suggest to hold your dough a wee bit longer for the new zen Estilo coz I checked out the following features in it:
Bigger engine-1061cc
Taller than older counterpart
More boot Space
Better A/c
64bhp power, 84nm torque@3500rpm
power locking 5 doors
elec. control rear view mirrors
speaker on all doors
Abs & airbags!
Soft feel 3 spoke steering wheel
Colors- Purple Fusion, Champagne Beige, Virgin Blue & olive Green.

Go For Zen dude, its a bachelors car!

If it is better, it is definitely not by much. ITt is the same dimensions as the WagonR, which means the rear seats suck, and both cars share the entire same drivetrain.

I've seen it. it sort of looks 'cute', similar to the Matiz, though the Matiz even today looks smarter. Buy it only if you are a woman.
