Should i buy a wrangler or a cr-v? both are about in the same price range but which one is better?

Jeep Wrangler for sure!! I own two of them!
I have a 1993 that I just loved ... I turned that into my "fun" jeep by lifting it, chroming it out, etc. ... then I bought a 2001 60th Anniversary special ... I have had it now since new, and absolutely NOTHING has failed me to date!!
You should definitely get the one with the straight 6 versus a 4 cylinder.

The Honda is better for value and over-all vehicle maintenance and performance (uses less gas, too). The Wrangler is just more fun. You will find many more after-market products for the Wrangler. If you intend on doing a lot of serious off-roading, the Wrangler has higher clearance and may be more durable. But in the long run, if you want a vehicle that lasts... I'd go with the Honda.

Honda CR-V. Very Good on-road performance, like a car
Jeep Wrangler. Very Good on-road performance. Very Good off-road performance, very good towing power.
I like both.

Cr-V is FAR BETTER!!! My husband had a wrangler when we were dating; I hated that damn thing. It was so loud and it had a million problems, and he bought it new. Jeeps are notorious for being unreliable. Hondas, on the other hand, are a good car and retain their value better.

If you want off road, the Wrangler is the best car. If you want a good car for the road, a Buick Lucerne or a minivan.

i have a 99 wrangler and it has been pretty dependable so far. It has 90000 miles on it and is a daily driver. it has the 4 cylinder engine so it is lacking power but overall it is pretty good.

Jeep has a real 4x4 system and they can take you anywhere unlike the CRV. If you want good mileage go for the CRV.

jeep if you going off road
Honda if not, bottom line Honda is much better

Ask yourself this question: Who offers the best and fastest maintenance package? Also Which one has a better suspension for your back?
I think Honda is best, but that is just my opinion...
