I found a truck I would like to get for my business. The person who has the truck needs someone to take over the loan and payments. The person still owes 16,000 on truck. My question is can someone who has bad credit get a loan to take over payments on this truck. The person who wants the truck has a bank account with money in it and also owns a house free and clear. How can a person with bad credit assume another person's car loan. The person who has the truck lives in washington state so does the person wanting the truck.

bought the car, gave $1000 cash deposit and $6000 check, he gave me the title and changed the price to $1750. he only gave me a receipt for my deposit nothing with the total $7000. its salvage. is it because he knows there are more damages to the vehicle and isn't worth alot and if i find out something wrong which fortunately i did, he can just say he sold it to me for little price?

I am thinking of purchasing a Ford Thunderbird 2004. However, there are a few concerns. Consumer Reports gave this vehicle a the worst rating for transmission for 2003-2004. The 2002 model rated fine but that maybe because it was the first year out. The car only had a three year production run. Anyone know why it was discontinued? Anyone own this car and have the inside track? Is it true that Ford is going to reintroduce this vehicle following a redesign?

I really would rather have a tacoma but I found a 99 S-10 for about half the cost of a tacoma. Will this thing last? 50,000 miles and nothing to report of...at least big enough to hit the carfax report.

I don't know car owner's credit history but she says she will give me the cleared title and lien release after payment is made. She also will sign notarized bill of sale and letter of intent before my payment is sent. Loan payment can only be made via overnight DHL delivery as they have no local offices in MD. Am I being scammed?

I run a business in the UK supplying all different new cars but what US ones should I consider. I need a cheap new run around under $20,000. I was thinking a JEEP COMPASS, DODGE NITRO or a car I am more familiar with VW GOLF GTI.

Any suggestions please, and once I am settled I will be looking for a performance car under $50,000 must be convertible.

Are the prices listed on manufacturers websites negotiable in Florida like they are in the UK?

I'm about 680 and they are giving me 11%. My co-signer is way better, so I was hoping that if she was on my loan, I could get a much better interest rate. How do they calculate it?

There's this car, and the owner is selling it for 1000 dollars because it has some transmission problems but my father is offering to fix it if i do buy it. he's a mechanic. So it's all up to my liking. It's a 1997 mercedes c280. I don't know how many miles it has on it. But i'll get back to you on that. anyways.. good deal or no? I'm guessing the price is pretty good but I dont know much about cars. SOO thanks in advance!

If such an "animal" exists, I have a glimmer of hope for my dream, which is to one day actually OWN a sports car. I like the idea of a back seat (I have kids) and my salary could use tripling.

Right, I'm 20 and I'm fixing to buy my first vehicle. What american vehicles (Yes, I'm bias. Live with it) would you recommend that would keep insurance costs low?

I'm none too concerned about maintenance of the vehicle because I've got tools and I am very handy with them, so I should be able to find my way around the engine, fuel system, electrical system and all that.

I make $7 an hour and I'm pulling in around $300 or so with every paycheck, just thought knowing my budget would help.
