to choose between the two vehicles listed is very easy. Hands down the BMW. It drives like a car yet is more capable off road than the escalade with it's antiquated all wheel drive system. The caddy has a great engine but she also loves to drink. I know this is hard to believe, but the BMW is a much better value, with it's free maintenance, good gas mileage, good power, capability, luxury, sportiness, safety, and the list goes on.

Dont buy the escalade. It takes too much gas you can get a chevy that is about the same for a lot less.

BMW X5 is a lot better than the escalade. It doesnt take up as much gas and its cheaper. However, you might need to replace the BMW in a couple of years because as BMWs get older, they start to have problems (major and minor).

I recommend taking a look at the 2007 Acura MDX and the 2007 Audi Q7. I really like the new design and i've heard that its a great car to drive. The Q7 is a new model and Motor Trend says that it has great performance.

Niether, actually. The BMW is nice, but not very reliable. The Escalade is only slightly more reliable but still not very good. Build quality of the E is pretty bad too -- it is and looks like a glorified Tahoe -- and it has a voracious appetite for fuel.

If you MUST have an SUV, check out the Accura MDX. You'll be MUCH happier in the long run.

Neither buy a BMW 5 series. SUV's are a waste. It will probably just be you and someone else in the SUV most of the time anyway. Ask yourself do I really need seating for 7?
