Get somehting not everyone has. You can buy a 96-98 Cobra Mustang for that price. It is very fast and not something you see everyday. Maybe look at a 90-96 Nissan 300zx twin turbo, or a Mazda rx7. Corvettes are a dime a dozen. I am tired of seeing them on every road. I mean I love them. But every day you see one.

If you want fast, sounds like you'll probably end up with tickets and wrecking it anyway, so what does it matter?
You want something fun to drive, sticks like glue to the road and gets decent mileage, try a Toyota MR2 or a Mazda Miata.

Get a 1999 - 2002 Mustang Cobra or a GT.
The 4.6 cammer engine sounds awesome,
Especially the D.O.H.C.

Chevy S-10. They are good for short races. Mine only cost 2,000.

The Kia Ultima is EXCELLENT and it has good pick up too if you get a manual. You can't beat the warranty either. 5yr/100,000 miles! I've owned mine for 2 years now and love it!! Check it out! Their SUV's are kinda cool too! The Kia's also have excellent gas mileage!!

honda civic, they are the most easily modded and customized cars for racing and such. put a nice body kit on, a sounds system, neon light, and other customizations. so like 10k for the car and then 4k to customize it to your liking
