I would first run an ad in your local paper. Maybe state that its a good parts car. Junkyards would be next and scrap yards last, they pay by the weight. If you go this route, throw some old engines and such to help weight it down.

Junkyards will pay about $50 for a car not running, $100+ if it is running. You have to have proper free and clear title though. If your want a few hundred I suggest you take out everything you can by yourself for scrap/recycling/core like the battery, alternator, catalytic convertor, etc. Then recycle the aluminum parts. Sell the seats speakers, radio, (even if it is factory) yourself. Then junk the rest.
You'd be surprised what people will buy out of an old car.
You may have to sit on it a while or advertise but that's the only way you're gonna get a "few hundred".

Yes, but for scrap value (at a SCRAP yard) they're not worth very much, maybe $50.
If a car runs, an AUTO WRECKING YARD might pay you $100 to $300 if you're lucky (depending upon the car).

those junk yards delivers you at terrific $2 hundred. you may attempt merchandising it regionally and could do greater efficient. the terrific element the automobile has is a working engine. whether it has subject concerns commencing, that is fixed. automobiles are well worth a lot greater in areas than in finished. so which you already know a junk backyard will take it aside and triple their money. Why provide them that danger once you're able to do this your self. i could promote it for $600.
