My worst experience is almost always in financing. I used to fall for the dealer accessories because the lienance manager would lie and say the difference in payment was only $20 a month... but it was really $80 or more. Which can add up to $4800 in a 60 month loan.
This is a standard practice in your industry, as you already know.

I bought a Cortina some years ago. But, I must admit, we bought it when it was dark. On the way home the gearbox went. I was so gutted as everything seemed ok. They were such a nice elderley couple (bastards). Needless to say, the car went 'missing' a couple of weeks later. How do nice, elderley people live with themselves! lol

Car sales people that don't have a clue on what they are talking about and make things up as they go along. One that beg for the sale and give reason why they have to sell a car.

Some person who we believed she was our friend sold my friend a big piece of junk, an old civic. He ended up paying almost twice its value in repairs.
