If you have a friend who is a car delaer and you take a person who buys a $5500 car paying it at once, how much he should give you as comission?

if you didn't have a prior arrangement for referrals, he is not obligated to give you anything. If he wanted to give you a courtesy 'bird dog' fee, he could give you 10% of what he made on he car. 5-10% is standard of the received commission.

Whatever you have as an agreement with the dealer. A $25 - $50 "bird-dog" fee is typical. But if you have no agreement with him, he doesn't owe you anything.

The going rate for a "bird dog" is fifty to a hundred dollars in my area.

That's up to the seller, I'd hope for at least 50 bucks.

I give everyone 100.00 per customer.

when i sold dodge, i made one of their monthy payments, i once had to shell out 550 for that mistake.

but now i will only give 100.
