I have 3 kids, 12, 10 and 6 yrs. old. so our family consists of total 5 persons including my wife. I am thinking of buying some used 1996 to 2002 honda civic. which model shoud I buy.

Was told today that I need to replace the engine in my car. I have a 1998 Ford Fiesta Zetec and it would cost me about £500/£600. He is a friend of the family and he advised me that I should just part ex the car and I'd get about £600 for it in it's current state. I'm really unhappy as this is my first car and I've already had a new exhaust, back box, clutch and headlights. I am unsure what to do now, I really want a new car but have no savings and really bad credit. What would be the best thing for me to do - buy a new engine or part ex it and try and get a car on finance, if I do get finance where should I go based on the fact I have a poor credit history.

Whats the best choice for me? I want something small but I have two kids and every once in a while my family might need to ride in this car. So it need to be safe. I do alot of driving for work...city and highway so good gas mileage is a priority. I am not too concerned with looks but I dont want to be laughed at while I'm driving. If me and the wife go on a date and take my car I want her to feel safe in the car and I want to look at least moderatly cool. So a car that is sexy would be plus. Answers from people that have actually owned the car would be great.

Problems tried to contact seller no reponse had to pay a lot of money to get fixed and still more to I was told . truck was safety and e-tested very concerned also about tires they said they passed the safety I not sure whether they knew the people at Muffler Man so rhat they could pass on the sly is there a way to find out if they pass and how can I get this rectified .Thanks Terry

I have a car which is registered in Jacksonville(Florida). Presently, I am in Norfolk (VA) for the past 5 months(I have not registered the car in Norfolk yet).
Now I Want to sell my car here in norfolk.
Can I do so.
Or
do I need to register it in norfolk before selling it.

I just moved from New York state to Illinois two months ago.
However, my company plans me to move me to the office in California.
I'm trying to sell my car in Illinois before I move to California and planning to buy a new or used car over there.

I am in the market for a new car. i cant decide between the new toyota camry and the new chevy impala. i jst came from a local toyota dealership and he confirmed what i already knew---american cars are marked up above msrp. What i need to know is how much chevy vehicles are marked up, and if so how much do you think i could talk the dealership down from the msrp of 21,995 for the chevy. please be descriptive in your answers i realy need help with this.
