i don't exactly own a gas guzzler but it guzzles more than i like. i would like to buy a car that is economical but has to have a bit of an estate bit as i have a dog. which make of car offers the best fuel economy/greener - i know driving full stop is bad for the environment so no comments on that please!

ok i am selling my van 1994 only asking $4,000 for it hoping to get $3,000 for it. someone called and said they would get my $2,400 for it, ok fine i need to sell it. Well i starting thinking about it and he wants to pay for and get it monday....................heres the thing he has not even drove it, did not ask anything about it. i don't know what to do about it becaseu it is a good van and all needs a/c work done but still good. And i just thank that he wont take care of it and might take it to mexico or something. i want to sell it put to good use and taken care of..................is that wrong ?????????

I have a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. Its time I need to buy a new car but I do not like anything that I see becase all the new cars seem to have a space age look to them. I am trying to figure out how I go about buying a car from someone who does not have title to the car because it is leased. The lessor believes that the title will be given to them within ten days. What is the best way of finalizing a deal with them? Pay them, trusting that they will send the title? Is there a contract I should have them sign? Anyone know a good resource for figuring this out?

recently, i had sign for a agreement on purchaing a mitisubi lancer and the dealer A(is a fren's fren) actually try 2 different bank to approve for my loan. Just after signning the agreement get to found out from dealer B that the charges that dealer A charge is higher.. Am i able to get the refund from dealer A as he's actually not honest. Dealer A is authorise dealer and dealer B is from the mitisubi co.

I bought a 1992 Pontiac Bonneville with 64,000 miles in 2003 for $2,300. I just lost the water pump and had to spend $300 on the repair. When people hear this a lot of them say I should have bought new because I'm "wasting money" and all used cars are junk. Book value on the car was $3,500 when I bought it and I've only spent 600 on repairs (lost the AC compressor in 05') so I figure I got a deal anyway. The only thing thats faulty on Bonnevilles is the cooling system and thats after 10+ years of use. All other components will last forever.
My parents spent 14,000 total on a 98' Crown Vic and a 99' Mazda p/u in 02' they've only had 500 in repairs on each in almost 5 years. They bought both from a reputable dealer and had them inspected.
It annoys me when people tell me spending 2900 total is worse than 20000 on a new vehicle. Don't these people think? All of the vehicles we have bought have been consumer reports best buys for used cars. Not everyone wants to have a 7 year car loan!
