By the ime you give the guy $2000 for the body, $5000-$10000 for a complete body restore. Another $2000 to have the interior done thats basic interior. $5000 minimum for a GM or Eddelbrock crate engine another $2000-$3000 for a transmission
$2000 for wheels and tires. Your already up to $25000. You might as well by one that is already complete.
But if you want to build it yourself for pride of knowing you did it yourself than go for it just be aware of the costs before you get into it

My goodness.......NO engine and NO transmission????? Those two items plus having them put in are going to hit your pocket book pretty hard.

As far as the cost to buy the body goes....geez....I guess it depends on how bad you want a 68 Camaro body. How about the tires, the interior, the rear end, windows and such. What shape are those in? I, personally, wouldn't pay much just to say I had a 68 Camaro. Good luck. Pops

ha depends what model camaro, SS? check the vin #. 5 grand a good deal as long as its pretty complete. Parts are VERY VERY expensive. You can get a nice used 350 tranny combo for $1500 if you keep your eye out. My suggestion is to part it out and make some money or just throw it on ebay as it and see what it brings. Check ebay for 68 camaro parts..top dollar!!!!
