Cars & Transportation - 30 December 2007

I live in Canada, and studded tires are legal again. Now don't get me wrong, I don't plan on bombing around like a fool, I just want to get to the trail, which is like two blocks away. I don't have a truck, or trailer, and a touch too lazy to walk it, when I could be riding. It is an on-off road bike licenced and insured. It is my luck that I meet up with the cops in that distance, just curious is all, besides people just love to answer 'why a bike in the winter?' or give smart ass answers, sooo have at er'.

It sounds like it comes from the front end, possibly tires because it goes faster when I speed up.
But sometimes it doesnt do it at all.

if i have a truck that is wrecked and whenever i turn the truck the front bumper is going into the front tire and scrubbing do you think the frame is bent? the mechanic says it is the frame but i do not believe it. could i be right?

I was driving an isolated mountain road near Zion National Park and my Tom Tom gps told me to make a right turn 100 feet ahead, that would have taken me flying off a killer of a cliff. Thank the lord it was day light. Maybe I could sue them. It was an English lady announcing the driving prompts, maybe she doesn't like Americans.

He was drunk and hit my parked car. The police were called and they took him to the station and interviewed him (I dont know any more) and im waiting for the police report.

If he is insured will his insurance pay for my damages? My car is pretty much totalled.

We already know that it's not the fuel pump, or the crank shaft sensor. We just had the distributor replaced, and all the spark plug wires. Any ideas??

.you have to look carefully to see it , I did it to somebody else's car by backing out in a parking lot.The owner says there are also scratches on the door.
I know they just want some money so the insurance won't be notified. What can i expect.? Location - Ontario

We are considering purchasing one and wonder how often when something goes wrong they find a reason to say that you are responsible for the repair. i was pulling a friend out of a mud hole i was in second gear the front wheel swere in the air and i herd a snap front end came down the clutch was really hard to pull in afterwerds and it wouldent return properly i had to work it with 2 hands went home tor it down one of my clutch plates was missing about 1 inch of it so did not make complet cyrcle the fiber disk is the one im talking about i lokated the mising piece and replaced it with a new disk inspected everything else looks great put all back together clutch works good other than i still have to use 2 hands to pull it in ive tor it down a few time yet cant find anything please help im lost and it probly somthin stupid please lmk......

hey i i took my driving test a few weeks ago... my tester man was a complete F**K arghh he gave me one serious fail for going slightly too slow around this roundabout, i couldnt belive him. but annyyway i took that test 9o'clock on a Monday morning AND it was raining! well my next test is at 11o'clock on a Sunday. tomora night am driving in my car with my bf which he hates begin in the car with me don't know why am a good driver. and he said hes gonna drive in my car but i said no hes not insured. he said he can if we get pulled over all we say is am selling my car and he test driving it can we do this and will it work as long as am in the car with him. he can drive to but wont take his car as its to perfect to take to a bad area. i drive a corsa and he drives a ibiza fr 1.8t. thanks

its a 1999 3.8 mustang,it has a k&n cai,flowmaster 40's,pypes o/r x-pipe,20in wheels,drag radials,120 thermostat,screamin demon coil,high performance plugs andd wires. which would be best in your opinion 3:73 or 4:10 with t-loc diff, whats my estimated top speed and how easy will it spin the tires without the brake making a turn
