what rear end gears does a 1997 mustang gt come with and what rear end gears does a 1999 v6 mustang come with

2.73 for V6
2.73, 3.08 (very common in GTs), or 3.27(std N/A Cobras and optional in some GTs) for V8s. All V8s will have limited-slip
3.27s became an option in GT's at some point in the mid-late 1990's, then became standard in the V6 and GT in 1999
