my question is WHY you have a v6 not a v8 if you want a awesome car get a v8 you can do anything to it and it is a very respectable car a v6 is worthless. nothing makes me more angry then when i see some with a 6 mustang trying to race, IT DOES NOT WORK!!!! so stop wasting your money on a v6 and get a v8 you will thank yourself a million times

I'm not sure about how fast it will go but 3:73 is better because you get a higher top speed and its not as had on gas like 4:10's are. Both would be good for breaking the rear end lose around a turn.

Hope I was of some help.

The 3.8L doesn't have alot to offer past 4700 RPM or so. 3.73s are probably the better all around choice. But you'll feel the 4.10s more. At most you're putting out 210 HP (flywheel) so I wouldn't be overly concerned about spining the tires in a turn. As for top speed, hard to say, if your car came with the S or T rated tires from the factory the governer will limit you to about 112 MPH. If there is no governer, I'd say 125-130ish, assuming your overdrive gear isn't too deep. Sounds like you should've got a GT to start out with.

4:10 will make it fast-off the line quarter mile stuff......but you lose sustained top speed, like on highway.motor wil be winding out pretty good...............
