You are in an aircraft (private) with 2 on board, one has a heart attack, and has to be on deck ASAP, how is it determined by ATC who gets priority if there is an A319 with engine out MayDay. Do they look at "who was first" to clear the approach, or is it by the size, crew+passenger #?

My highbeams stay on all the time, even when the truck is turned off, and the key is removed. After talking to a mechanic at a Jeep dealership, he said to remove the daytime running lights module and put it back in. After doing this, it doesnt work, the lights still come on! I don't want to have to keep removing my battery cable when i leave the truck, what can i do!

The speedometer is cable driven. Is there a point at which the cable is too far in the speedometer or can I tighten the nut holding the two together all the way?

1973 Jaguar XJ6 inexcellent shape inside and out, rust free. 80,000 miles. Owner 25 years, off road 12 years. started 4 years ago when carbs rebuilt. Stainless exauhst
Needs headliner(fallen) and gas tanks cleaned out from sitting.
Owner doesn't want to start because of the old gas. Seems to be trustable.
Do you think the tanks realy need to be cleaned out, or will treatment take care of it?

Intend to get a set of steering wheel lock when traveling in Malaysia from Singapore. Chance upon a brand named Master Lock from UK if I'm not wrong. The key not only single edge but four. Is it a good option comparing the other brand? Thanks

My husband and I were in Costa Rica for a week and decided to rent a car from Payless for a few days. On our way from San Jose to La Fortuna our car broke down on the side of the road. It just stalled and then wouldn't start again. It was nothing that we did. Now the company has charged us 2500 dollars for repairs to the car, stating that our full coverage insurance that we had purchased did not cover negligence. They are blaming us for the bad car that they gave us, and now our checking account has 2500 dollars less in it. This charge was not there when we checked out with them, but it was there today. My husband has argued with them all day, but it just feels like there is nothing we can do. They say we were irresponsible with the car causing damage to the engine, which the full coverage insurance does not cover. They have not proof of this, but we have no proof either. Is there anything we can do?

I have a C&C Redline 25' sailboat. It has a tiller and an outboard kicker on the port side. I am wondering if it is possible to install a motor underneath the transom floor ( there is room ) and drill a thru-hull for a shaft so that i could eliminate the outboard kicker that throws my boat off balance? If this is possible, how would I go about do this? Any websites? Phone nums? Etc..? I am able to send pictures if anyone needs more information.

I am looking to buy a new car. My short list includes the Acura TL Type S, Lexus IS, and Mercedes CLK. The CLK seems out of place yes...my previous car was also a coupe, but I was in a recent car accident, and it's been suggested to me that I get a sedan or a SUV.

Still, I like coupes, but the only coupe I like is the CLK, I love the G35 (G37), but that was the car I had previously and I just can't bring myself to get another one.

Anyways, the CLK is priced higher than the TL and IS...but I can still afford to buy it outright, IF maintanace isn't an issue. But I've heard Mercedes reliability in the past few years has been pretty bad. Have you found this to be true?

It's the worst criminal thing I've had happened so far...but it was seriously terrifying to me. They had my house keys, address, bank account numbers, where I work...everything. I know there are way worse things...but ugh...I'm still so angry! ( and scared).

My S.E.S light turned on so I took my car (02 Eclipse) to a mechanic who said it was the O2 sensor (before the cat) causing the problem and said it needs to be replaced. My brother then took it to a friend who hooked it up to a computer and said it was the exhaust sensor...are these 2 things the same? Also what do they actually do? Is it ok to drive my car with this being bad?

Lastly the mechanic said it is fairly easy to switch out on your own, is this true? thx for the help.

I am going thru tires on my 2005 CTS way too. At 32,000 miles, I am about to the end of life on my 2nd set. I have rotated them religiously, at 5000 mile (or less) intervals. My tire dealer says the way the car is "set up" it scrubs the tires, my Caddy dealer, while not refuting that, says there is nothing they can do, faulty design. Anyone else having an issue with this? Anybody challenged Gen Motors with any success?
